I think its because he's a devtome writer.

Every time I post it kicks me out tot the main forum menu.  That can get really frustrating once that main menu gets really long.  Is it just my computer doing this or is everyone else experiencing the same thing?  TIA

Go to your profile page, and under 'modify profile' choose 'look and layout'. Then you can check 'return to topics after posting by default'. This will take you straight to your new post after posting.

I like to write about opera and literature mostly, but I was a business major in college so I try and add some of that world into my repertoire.

Glad to find this forum.  I just started writing for the devtome, but have written professionally off and on for several years. I am on a major learning curve about cryptocurrencies and especially Devcoin.  Glad to be user #37--in on the ground floor as they say.  Looking forward to networking 

Howdy all. Very new to cyrptocurrency. I have very little knowledge on devcoins but I'm hoping to gain a basic understanding from the great members here.

I have been on btctalk for only a few weeks and luckily I found the great thread on devcoin. I am so excited to begin writing on devtome and to gain my first devcoins.

A very silly question but how to I set up a wallet for dvc?

Oh and a little on my self. I'm a semi professional poker player and got into btc thru seals with clubs. I have profited about 3 btc this far.

I am hoping to expand my knowledge on dvc imparticular because I am a writer at heart and I cant wait so share some of my work with the community

But to summarise:

download a wallet from the link above (for example if you're a windows user the 'windows-exp installer version' is good, I use that one), and run the file. That will generate and setup your wallet, which will then download the blockchain.

Then create a Devtome account, send a small sample of your writings to me (weisoq) or fuzzybear (who started this forum) on bitcointalk.org. We will then activate your devtome account and you can set-up your pages and off you go.

There's a new devcoin thread on bitcointalk where you may receive more responses until this forum gets busier (it's quite new):
